Exotic Rosewood Bud Vase with lid

Custom made Exotic Rosewood Bud Vase with lid. Vase is 8" tall and is approximatly 2.5" wide. Vase has been finished in a paste wax for a protective coating.

The exotic wood was collected, while stationed overseas in the Caribbean, at a base located in the "Pearl of the Antilles". Flowers not included

All items are made in the USA and are hand turned or hand made in my shop in Florida, or in my portable shop used while traveling. Each piece of wood is kept as original as possible and every natural "flaw" is kept as is, protected, and sometimes accentuated. I prefer the woods natural beauty speak for itself. As such, no two pieces will ever be made the same.

All wood products need to be treated with any kitchen oil or a wood wax to protect the wood and keep it water proof. After exposure to water, thoroughly air dry the wood, cover with a kitchen oil (we use sweet almond oil), and allow to soak in. When the bowl begins looking dry a good coating of a wood wax or wood butter will help moisturize the wood and keep it water proof.
